WholeBuddy Pet Food & Accessories was born from a lifelong love of animals and a journey that’s been years in the making. Growing up in Africa, my bond with animals began at a very young age. I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, and from early on, I learned just how much joy and companionship they bring to our lives.

Fast forward to December 2019, just before the world changed with the pandemic, a close friend and I adopted two puppy sisters. I named my little girl ‘Yoda’—inspired by her oversized ears and wise, soulful eyes (though not everyone got the reference!)

Yoda had a rough start in life and, as it turned out, a very sensitive stomach. I found myself making constant trips to the vet, worried sick each time she refused food or became unwell.

This experience led me down a deep rabbit hole of researching pet food - where it comes from, how it's made, and what truly makes a difference in a pet’s health. I became fascinated by the process and started imagining how I would do things differently if I had my own brand. I wanted to create food that not only nourishes and supports pets but also enriches and revitalizes their lives.

And so, WholeBuddy was born - a brand rooted in love, quality, and the desire to give our pets the best nutrition possible, so they can stay by our side for years to come.
